India
In the Winter of 2002-3 I went a-painting in Karnataka, Delhi & Tamil Nadu.
In 2005-6, this time funded by the Arts Council (thank you ACE), I returned to paint some more in Kerala & Goa.
This page shows some details, top, and whole paintings, below, from my splendid touring exhibition
ACHCHHA! Paintings of India
which showed at the
BRADFORD INDUSTRIAL MUSEUM and DUKES THEATRE LANCASTER in 2006
and at FARFIELD MILL ARTS CENTRE, SEDBERGH, CUMBRIA
in Spring 2008.

"Adding a contemporary twist to traditional Indian miniature painting techniques, these delightful paintings
convey the flavour of everyday life in India's streets and countryside"
"A show for all the family, specially if your family likes cows"

Prints of all these paintings, and LOTS more, are available - £30 large ( approx A3 ) or £15 smaller.
I am represented in India by
DINODIA, Mumbai 400 - 002 (www.dinodia.com)

Beware of coconuts! More people are killed in India by coconuts falling on them than any other cause. This one very nearly got me. Ooof! You could compare this with Hockney's "The Splash" which is possibly the world's dullest painting & recently sold for 3 million quid.

The Bag Wallah.
