Using tools Believe it or not, you need tools to carve stone. That may be obvious, but think about it for a minute. Imagine trying to work a piece of stone with your bare hands, go on think about it. Not easy huh !. Remember the projects here are based on relief and incised carving. We are not into the realms of sculpture or stone masonry . Try to look at a tool from the point of view of what it will do, not necessarily what it is. Use you chisels to cut, don't hit them too hard, use the weight of your dummy. Lift your chisel back if it starts to stick. You'll soon get the knack.		$Texturing stone$
